Symptoms
When running Minecraft maximized Nvidia's drivers will become unresponsive but recoverable, displaying following message:
The screen may flicker during this time. After about 5-15 minutes the computer will BSOD
Software Information
Windows 7 - No SP1 installed
Nvidia Driver 267.24 or 266.XX
Minecraft 1.6.6 w/ Misa's HD texture pack, Patched with MCpatcher 2.1.0
Solution
Nvidia doesn't like Minecraft when its running in windowed mode, especially maximized. After login press F11 to fullscreen Minecraft. This should stop the Blue Screens.
Consider this a temporary fix until Notch patches Minecraft up a bit more.

Background Information
I've seen this before in other applications where Nvidia will drivers won't handle windowed versions of games, especially if you have more than one monitor. Fullscreening a window tell the Nvidia driver that this is what it should focus on. I haven't experienced a single BSOD since, if you're still experiencing problems and have the same symptoms leave a comment below.
